JAMESTOWN – City police have arrested two city residents on drug charges following a week-long investigation
According to city police, Matthew Williams and Lauren Carlson – both 25 – were arrested 1 p.m. Wednesday at their apartment at 105 McKinley Ave. The arrest was the culmination of an investigation and subsequent raid by the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force along with the Jamestown Police Department SWAT team.
During the arrest, police found an undisclosed amount of cocaine and marijuana.
Williams and Carlson were both arrested on drug possession charges and sent to the city jail to await arraignment.
