SINCLAIRVILLE, NY -A Sinclairville man has been arrested by Chautauqua county Sheriff’s deputies for sexually abusing a child.
A report from the Sheriff’s Office says 46 year-old Louis Higgs Jr. of Thornton Rd. has been charged with course of sexual conduct against a child in the 1st degree, sexual abuse in the 2nd degree, and endangering the welfare of child.
The arrest was made after the sheriff’s office received a complaint from child protective services of an alleged sexual abuse case. After an investigation was completed a warrant was issued for Higgs’ arrest. The warrant was served on Thursday and Higgs was brought into police custody. He was arraigned and sent to the county jail on $50,000 cash bail.
