**2023 CANDIDATES**

All candidates affiliated with a political party have until April 6 to collect the required signatures from their fellow party members. Party officials can assist candidates with collecting signatures. This year four political parties have ballot lines: Conservative, Democrat, Republican, and Working Families. The BOE has more information on how to properly collect signatures, as well as the minimum needed for office being sought.

A Primary race will occur whenever two or more candidates seek a party’s endorsement for the same office and submit the required number of signatures.

Candidates not affiliated with a political party can circulate an Independent Petition starting April 18 and candidates can submit those petitions to the BOE between May 23 and 30.

The following are candidates who have announced their intention to appear on the ballot for the 2023 General Election. An updated list will be posted in April 2023 following the petition deadline.

Candidates wishing to share their intention to run, please email WRFA@RegLenna.com with your name, office you are running for, and political party.
