{"id":6223,"date":"2013-08-08T11:07:46","date_gmt":"2013-08-08T15:07:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/wrfalp.wordpress.com\/?p=6223"},"modified":"2013-08-08T11:07:46","modified_gmt":"2013-08-08T15:07:46","slug":"morning-news-soup-and-song-benefit-is-tonight-in-bemus-point","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wrfalp.com\/morning-news-soup-and-song-benefit-is-tonight-in-bemus-point\/","title":{"rendered":"MORNING NEWS: Soup and Song Benefit is Tonight in Bemus Point"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BEMUS POINT &#8211; A partnership between <strong>St. Susan Center<\/strong> and <strong>Infinity Visual and Performing Arts, Inc.<\/strong> will take place tonight \u2013 rain or shine \u2013 on Chautauqua Lake.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Soup and a Song<\/strong> fundraiser for both Infinity and St. Susan Center will take place in Bemus Point\u2019s village park. The music will be provided by a handful of entertainers from Chautauqua County who have studied singing and musicianship, and honed their performing skills, as students at Infinity. The soup will be prepared and served by chefs representing about 20 of the region\u2019s most popular restaurants.\u2028<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Entertainers lined up for the event include <strong>Austin Anderson<\/strong>, <strong>Stephanie Benson<\/strong>, <strong>Lily Ellis<\/strong> and <strong>SYMBA<\/strong> (<strong>Hayley Restivo<\/strong> and <strong>Ryan Hawkins<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>Soup will be served, and musical entertainment will begin at 5:30 p.m. and continue through 7:30 p.m. Tickets for three bowls of soup, a beverage and access to the performances will cost $10 for adults and $5 for children (two bowls of soup). Proceeds from ticket sales, the bake sale and raffles will be split between St. Susan Center and Infinity.<\/p>\n<p>Restaurants donating and serving soup include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hotel Lenhart<\/li>\n<li>Red Lobster<\/li>\n<li>Webb\u2019s Captain\u2019s Table<\/li>\n<li>Bemus Point Inn<\/li>\n<li>See-Zurh House<\/li>\n<li>Dinner Bell<\/li>\n<li>Sweet Spot<\/li>\n<li>Bob Evans<\/li>\n<li>Village Casino<\/li>\n<li>Babalu Caf\u00e9<\/li>\n<li>Hare N\u2019 Hounds Inn<\/li>\n<li>Village Restaurant<\/li>\n<li>Guppy\u2019s Restaurant<\/li>\n<li>Corner Coffeehouse &amp; Bistro<\/li>\n<li>Springs Restaurant<\/li>\n<li>Scallion Bistro<\/li>\n<li>Bemus Point Golf Club<\/li>\n<li>Italian Fisherman<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As part of the festivities, horse-drawn carriage rides through the village of Bemus Point will be provided by Magic Moments Carriage Rides \u2013 with proceeds going to both organizations.
