This will be the second &#8220;3<sup>rd<\/sup> Street Canvas&#8221; \u00a0art installation in Jamestown since 2011.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>All entries must be received by April 1st to: <a href=\"mailto:3rdstreetcanvas@gmail.com\">3rdstreetcanvas@gmail.com<\/a>.<br \/>\nSubmissions should not exceed 100 words and can be of any genre: poetry,<br \/>\nprose, micro-fiction, autobiography, etc. \u00a0Each submission must have a title<br \/>\nA brief narrative describing the author\u2019s inspiration behind the submission<br \/>\nmust accompany the writing. \u00a0Only original material will be accepted.<\/p>\n<p>Include your name, address and telephone number with your submission and a<br \/>\nfew sentences about yourself. \u00a0Only two submissions per person will be<br \/>\naccepted.<\/p>\n<p>A panel of community members will review the entries, choosing up to 40 for<br \/>\ndowntown display. \u00a0 Those not chosen for submission will be featured on the 3rd Street Canvas website: \u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/3rdstreetcanvas.wordpress.com\">3rdstreetcanvas.wordpress.com<\/a><\/strong> \u00a0No prior professional writing experience is necessary.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;3rd Street Canvas &#8211; An Urban Literary Trail&#8221; is made possible by Arts<br \/>\nCouncil For Chautauqua County with support from Chautauqua Region Community<br \/>\nFoundation. \u00a0For more information visit \u00a0<strong>www.artscouncil.com<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JAMESTOWN &#8211; Arts Council For Chautauqua County is now accepting submissions for &#8220;3rd Street Canvas &#8211; An Urban Literary Trail.\u201d The 3rd Street Canvas is a public art installation that will display the writing of community members on buildings and other structures on and around Third Street in downtown Jamestown.
