A 14-year veteran of the Jamestown Police Department<\/strong> who left the department during an internal investigation into his alleged theft of evidence has pleaded guilty to one charge of official misconduct.<\/p>\n According to a published report, former JPD Detective Eric Corey<\/strong> made the plea in Town of Ellicott Court<\/strong> last Wednesday. He could face up to a year in jail for the Class A-misdemeanor charge.
