Projects include pulling non-native plants, planting native seeds and shrubs, sprucing up the gardens, picking up trash as part of Roadside Cleanup, and more.<\/p>\n

ST. LUKE’S HOST EVENING EVENT<\/p>\n
As part of Earth Day celebration locally, St. Luke\u2019s Episcopal Church<\/strong> in Jamestown is hosting an exhibit opening entitled E.O. Wilson’s Biophilia Hypothesis: Loving Bats and Birds and Leaves. Sandra Rothenberg<\/strong> and Marilyn Martin<\/strong> are the featured photographers.<\/p>\nSt. Luke\u2019s Earth Day Celebration begins at 6 p.m. The Reverend Luke Fodor<\/strong> will offer a few inspirational Earth Day thoughts; this brief introduction will be followed by an \u201coptional\u201d ten minutes of meditation, reflection, or prayers for Earth Healing. SHRED CENTER OFFERS FREE SHREDDING<\/p>\n
The Shred Center<\/strong> will again be offering free shredding services on Earth Day. In lieu of a charge for shredding, customers will be asked to make a cash or check contribution to directly benefit Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care.<\/p>\nThe Shred Center is located at \u00a01943 New York Ave, Falconer.
