<\/a>FREWSBURG – A Frewsburg teenager is in trouble with the law after allegedly stealing a vehicle and getting into an accident, and then resisting arrest.<\/p>\nAccording to a media release, Chautauqua County Sheriff deputies responded to a call of a vehicle in the ditch on Water Street in the Town of Kiantone at about 6:25 a.m. Monday morning.<\/p>\n
On arrival it was discovered that a 17 year-old male, whose name is not being release, was operating the vehicle and had fled and left a 15 year old female passenger at the accident scene. It was further learned that the 17 year-old male had unlawfully taken the vehicle from a residence in the Frewsburg area without permission from the vehicle owner.<\/p>\n
The 17 year old male was located at a residence in Frewsburg a short time later and physically resisted arrest when deputies attempted to take him into custody. The teen was then transported to WCA hospital by Frewsburg ambulance, and while at the hospital he allegedly continued to fight with deputies and struck a Sheriff’s Deputy in the face.<\/p>\n
The teen was later arraigned in Town of Kiantone Court on several related charges, including resisting arrest, child endangerment, grand larceny, and and then sent to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
