\"\"JAMESTOWN – The American Association of University Women<\/strong> is partnering with the Mental Health Association in Chautauqua County<\/strong> to sponsor a panel discussion later this week to address the local heroin epidemic.<\/p>\n

The event will take place on Thursday, Jan. 19, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Community Room at the Prendergast library.<\/p>\n

The program will focus specifically on the epidemic\u2019s impact of women, how women can lead positive change, and action steps that can be taken in the community to address the epidemic.<\/p>\n

The keynote speaker of the event is Kia Briggs<\/strong>, Executive Director of the Mental Health Association<\/strong>. Other panelists will include Lillian Ney<\/strong>, Julie Apperson<\/strong>, Leanna Luka-Conley<\/strong>, Lori Keller<\/strong>, and Heather Brown<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event will also include scenes from the local play, Least Resistance, performed by the Winged Ox Players<\/strong> an outreach theater group of St. Luke\u2019s Episcopal Church<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
