{"id":13641,"date":"2015-04-24T08:29:56","date_gmt":"2015-04-24T12:29:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wrfalp.com\/?p=13641"},"modified":"2015-04-24T08:29:56","modified_gmt":"2015-04-24T12:29:56","slug":"jrc-announces-2015-participants-of-renaissance-block-challenge-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wrfalp.com\/jrc-announces-2015-participants-of-renaissance-block-challenge-program\/","title":{"rendered":"JRC Announces 2015 Participants of Renaissance Block Challenge Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JAMESTOWN &#8211; Landscaping, porch repairs, painting, sidewalk replacement, and many other projects will soon be underway in the city as part of the <a href=\"http:\/\/jamestownrenaissance.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jamestown Renaissance Corporation\u2019s<\/a> (JRC) annual Renaissance Block Challenge.<\/p>\n<p>The program gives property owners access to matching grants and other assistance to complete a wide range of exterior improvements. Five neighborhood clusters located on Beechview, Dearborn, Ellis, Euclid, and Hotchkiss were chosen for this year\u2019s finalists.<\/p>\n<p>The five groups include 86 property owners and are a mix of owner-occupants and landlords.<\/p>\n<p>The Renaissance Block Challenge is a component of the neighborhood revitalization plan adopted by Jamestown\u2019s City Council in December 2010.
