The fundraiser for the area\u2019s soup kitchen combines concerts by popular local musical groups with an open-mic, starting at 6:30 this evening at the St. Susan Center. For the modest admission price of $10, attendees will be treated to an evening of fine live musical entertainment and a meal consisting of hearty soup and beverages. The program is coordinated by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.trinityguitars.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Trinity Guitars<\/strong><\/a> in Jamestown.<\/p>\n<p>This is the third and final installment of the 2012 Soup and a Song program series. St. Susan Executive Director <strong>Sue Colwell<\/strong> says it has been a great boost for the operation.<\/p>\n<p>The Kidder United Methodist Church praise band, <strong>Kidder Alive<\/strong> will be tonight\u2019s featured performer. Kidder Alive features <strong>Steve Swanson<\/strong>, <strong>Bob Servis<\/strong>, <strong>Valerie Murphy<\/strong>, <strong>Jason Tonon<\/strong>, <strong>Dick Gould<\/strong>, <strong>Bonnie Sleight<\/strong>, <strong>Jim Holler<\/strong> and <strong>Rick LaDue<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Soup and a Song event will run from 6 to 9:00pm this evening.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll have more on the Soup and Song Fundraiser later today during <a href=\"http:\/\/wrfalp.com\/index.php?content=home&amp;page=shows&amp;show=Arts%20On%20Fire\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Arts on Fire<\/strong><\/a> at 1 p.m., when we talk with Colwell, Kidder Memorial\u2019s Rick LaDue, and Trinity Guitars Jim Holler.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JAMESTOWN &#8211; Jamestown\u2019s St. Susan Center will continue the monthly \u201cSoup and a Song\u201d series of programs tonight.
