Warren Man Charged Following Hit and Run Domestic Incident in Falconer

December 11, 2017 By WRFA Radio 1 Comment

FALCONER -A Warren, Pennsylvania man has been charged following an incident late Sunday afternoon in which he allegedly ran over a victim and then fled the scene.

According to Ellicott Police, officers were sent to a report of a female who had been struck by a car around 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the area of South Work and East Main Streets in Falconer. When officers arrived they found that 38 year-old Shawn Arnold of Warren had allegedly been involved in a domestic dispute with a 38-year-old female. During the argument, the female was attempting to get into Arnold’s vehicle, when Arnold then backed up his vehicle, dragging the female a short distance. She then fell to the ground and Arnold then ran over her legs with his vehicle.

The victim was treated at the scene by Falconer Fire for several serious injuries to her legs, she was then flown by Star Flight to Hamot Hospital in Erie for treatment.

Arnold left the scene and was later located and arrested for Felony Reckless Endangerment (1st degree) and Felony Aggravated Criminal Contempt. The victim had a valid order of protection against Arnold.

Town of Ellicott Police were assisted at the scene by the New York State Police and the Chautauqua County Sheriffs office. Arnold was arraigned with the Town of Ellicott Court and was remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail with out Bail.

If the women had a restraining order why was she trying to get into the man’s car to begin with. She violated the retraining order got hurt and the man gets all the blame crazy if you think about it!
