JAMESTOWN – Two more suspects involved in the July 1 home invasion on Falconer St. that resulted in a shootout with police have been indicted by a Chautauqua County Grand Jury.

Jamestown Police Captain Robert Samuelson says that 26 year-old Levelle Jones and 26 year-old Jacon Hicks, both from Buffalo, were each indicted on 22 counts, which include multiple charges related burglary, robbery, sexual abuse, and criminal use of a firearm. In addition, the two each face a charge of first-degree criminal sex act. Both were committed to the Chautauqua County Jail on $1 million cash bail.

The charges are identical to the 22 counts that were handed down last week against two other suspects – twin bothers Jaqwan Martin and Maqwan Martin, both 23 and also from Buffalo. An additional two suspects whose identities have not been released remain in police custody, while police are continuing their search for a seventh suspect.

On July 1 at about 3 a.m., the group of seven men are accused of invading a home at 188 Falconer Street and assaulted the residents inside the home. While not many details have been released regarding the incident, police believe the motive was drug-related.

Also, when police arrived on the scene to investigate, one of the suspects allegedly fired at the officer. As a result, the officer returned fire and may have possibly hit the individual.  However, the alleged shooter, along with two other men, fled out a window and were not apprehended. Police did, however, locate both the Martin inside the home that morning.

Later that afternoon, two other men allegedly connected to the burglary were spotted and arrested while walking on the railroad tracks in Celoron. One of those men was Hicks. Also on July 3, two addition individuals allegedly connected to the case – one of which being Jones – were located in Buffalo and arrested.

Police say the investigation into the case is ongoing and anyone who may have information is asked to call the Jamestown Police Department at 483-7531 or can leave an anonymous tip at the department’s anonymous tip line at 483-8477 (Tips). All calls will be kept confidential.
