JAMESTOWN – Two city men and a Lakewood resident face charges following the culmination of a drug investigation that took place Wednesday afternoon in Jamestown.

Jamestown Police Captain Robert Samuelson says 62 year-old Wayne Leeper and 33 year-old Jarvell Leeper, both of Jamestown, along with 40 year-old Antwan Jackson of Lakewood, were all arrested and charged following a raid on a home at 904 N. Main St. at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

According to a media release, authorities gained access into the apartment and once inside located a quantity of crack cocaine, more than a pound of marijuana, a quantity of prescription pills, and scales and packaging material.

Both Wayne Leeper and Jarvell Leeper, who were both listed as residing in the apartment, were charged with 3rd and 5th Degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance along with 2nd degree Criminal Possession of Marijuana and and Criminal Using Drug Paraphernalia.

Police also say that upon entry into the apartment, Jackson allegedly jumped out a window in an attempt to flee from the scene but was apprehended. He was charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration.

All subjects are currently in the city jail and are awaiting arraignment. Anyone with information on the sales and trafficking of illegal narcotics can call the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force Anonymous Tip Line at 483-Tips (8477). All calls will be kept confidential.
