37 restaurants from all over Chautauqua County are participating in Restaurant Week. All are members of the Chamber of Commerce and have worked to provide some special offerings for patrons during the event. Here is a list of participating restaurants by community:
Restaurant Week 2015 is sponsored by CHQ Local Food, Sam’s Club and the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce. It runs from October 19-25. Residents are being encouraged to go to at least 3 different restaurants this week to show their support.

“Meet Your Farmer: Happy Hour” will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Shawbucks. It is being coordinated by Chautauqua Local Foods (CHQ Local Foods) and will feature several local farmers who grow and produce food in Chautauqua County. The event will also feature a variety of foods, including:
There will also be a variety of local beer, wine, and other libations on hand. The event is free to attend although some costs may apply for food and beverages.
JAMESTOWN – The Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce Restaurant Week is now underway and will continue through Sunday, Oct. 26.

]]>According to Chamber representative Justin Hanft, the purpose of the promotion is to shine a spotlight on the chamber’s restaurant members. He adds restaurant has been challenged to come up with a special offering for customers or a creative “signature” dish for the week.

Participating restaurants are encouraged to highlight a special meal deal, either their unique dish or a menu of items, offering it for the Restaurant Week special price of just $20.13. Chautauqua County Gift checks, available at both the Jamestown and Dunkirk offices, will be honored by all participating restaurants. The theme of, “Dine Often, Dine Local”, sums up the week as the chamber encourages residents to enjoy the area’s fine culture and cuisine.
