Mike Dykeman, owner and operator of the Dykeman Young Gallery & Vintage Emporium on 2nd street, experienced loss of his eyesight earlier in the year, which resulted in him having to temporarily close the doors of his business.

The Dykeman Young Gallery & Vintage Emporium is a point of attraction downtown not only for the high end vintage items that are for sale, but also because of the art gallery that has given local artists an opportunity to showcase and promote their work.

Dykeman is now drawing up plans to reopen the business, but is faced with the challenges of added expenses in order to re-adapt the daily operation.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Dykeman with his effort. Anyone interested in helping is encouraged to make a donation, no matter the amount.
