On Thursday, Stephanie Burdo of the visitors bureau and Delana Rupp of JCC’s Continuing Education Department were on WRFA’s Community Matters program to discuss the Chautauqua in June Festival. Burdo offered details on how the festival got started, saying it was based off of the branding label “Chautauqua County: The World’s Learning Center.”
The learning festival will feature a variety of courses from dozens of local participants and covering a wide array of programming, including the arts, culture, the outdoors, and even culinary. Prices for the workshops start at $45 apiece.
In addition to JCC, other agencies assisting with Chautauqua in June are the Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce, Chautauqua Institution, SUNY Fredonia and a number of other area businesses and attractions.
