JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Police Department arrested two men Thursday afternoon following an investigation into complaints of drug activity at a residence on the north side of town.

Police say 32-year-old Ryan Stills and 55-year-old Warren Dinkens were arrested on charges related to a crack cocaine drug trafficking operation out of an upper apartment at 42 W. 10th St.

Authorities reportedly found crack cocaine laced with fentanyl and drug paraphernalia as part of their investigation.

Both men were sent to the city jail to await arraignment.

KIANTONE – Three Warren County, Pa., residents were sent to the Chautauqua County jail after methamphetamine, crack cocaine, heroin and several prescription pills were found inside a vehicle involved in a crash Tuesday on Route 62 in the town of Kiantone.

New York State Police responded to the scene and found some of the drugs in plain site, prompting a further search and discovery of more drugs.

Arrested were 30 year old Matthew Vanarsdale of Youngsville, Pa., 28-year-old Samantha Kitchen and 27-year-old Zachary Miller – both of Warren.

Vanarsdale was charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, four counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation.

Miller, who was driving the car, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and failing to use designated lane.

Kitchen was charged with eight counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument.

All three were transported to Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.

JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown man faces charges after he was arrested following an investigation into the sales and trafficking of illegal drugs in the city.

Jamestown Police say the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and New York State Police CNET executived a search warrant at 2 p.m. Tuesday at an apartment at 1002 N. Main St. in the city.

During the investigation, police say a quantity of crack cocaine was found.

Arrested was 30 year-old Warkim Keys, who was charged with 3rd degree Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance and 3rd degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Keys was placed into custody and sent to the city jail to await arraignment.

JAMESTOWN -Local police have made yet another arrest in the effort to crack down on the illegal drug trade in the city.

The latest major bust took place on Friday shortly before 5:30 a.m., when the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, New York State Police CNET and agents from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration executed a search warrant at a home on 10 Sampson St.

Inside, police reportedly seized 130 grams of cocaine and 25 grams of crack cocaine, along with cash, drug paraphernalia and a set of brass knuckles.

Arrested and charged were 38-year-old Odessin McBride and 33 year-old Ashley Mcbride. In addition to drug-related charges, they were also charged with endangering the welfare of a child since their 4-year-old child was living with them.

According to the Post-Journal, the Ring It Wireless cellphone business located at 406 W. Third St. and which was reportedly operated by Oddessin McBride was searched as part of the investigation.

FALCONER – Two men are behind bars and a large amount of drugs have been taken off the streets following a drug raid that took place Monday in the village of Falconer.

Jamestown Police Chief Harry Snellings and Ellicott Police Chief William Ohnmeiss Jr. held a joint press conference Tuesday afternoon to go over the details of the arrest, as well as present the money, drugs, and hang gun that were confiscated during the drug raid.

Police say an ongoing investigation into the sale and trafficking of illegal narcotics in the Jamestown area led investigators from the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, NYSP CNET, and the Town of Ellicott Police Department to conduct two separate search warrants at 19 S. Work St. on Monday afternoon in Falconer.

The searches resulted in two arrests and the total seizure of about three quarters a pound of cocaine, more than $21,000 in cash, and the recovery of a loaded 9mm pistol that was later found to be stolen from Erie, Pa.

Investigators charged Demario Chatman, 38, with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (1st Degree: A-1 Felony) as his apartment was found to contain more than 9 oz. of cocaine and cash.

Chatmon is also being charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon (3rd degree) asthe stolen loaded pistol and brass knuckles were also recovered in his apartment.  He was also found to be in possession of 9 grams of crack cocaine once he was searched in the city jail and faces an additional charge of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (3rd degree).

Investigators also charged Damien Thomas, 39, with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance (3rd degree) and criminal possession of marijuana (4th degree) as his apartment was found to contain about 2 ounces of cocaine and more than 3 ounces of marijuana.

Both men were arrested and sent to the city jail for arraignment.

Jamestown Police say 55 year-old Dennis Denardi of Warren was stopped on Lafayette St. just after 2 p.m. for a traffic violation. When questioned by police he admitted to being under the influence of drugs. A subsequent search of his vehicle turned up a quantity of cocaine, crack cocaine, and oxycodone pills.

Both Denardi and his passenger, 27 year-old Johnee Thompson of Jamestown, were arrested on multiple drug charges and taken to the city jail to await arraignment.

Jamestown police say the stop took place in the area of 65 River St. at about 2 p.m.  Inside the vehicle were 32 year-old Charles Washington and 18 year-old Mariah Snyder.

Snyder was allegedly found to be in possession of in small quantity of marijuana. A later investigation also found her in possession of 9 grams of cocaine and 6 grams of crack cocaine. A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up 11 ounces of marijuana, drug packaging material and a digital scale.

Both were arrested on related charges and sent to the city jail to await arraignment.

JAMESTOWN – A Buffalo man has been arrested following a traffic stop that found he was allegedly in possession of crack cocaine intended for sale.

Jamestown police say 19 year-old Kori Robinson was stopped by officers for a traffic violation just before 7 p.m. Tuesday night in the area of Peach St. near Bowen St. An investigation found that Robinson did not have a driver’s license. He was taken to the city jail for booking and during the subsequent search he was allegedly found to be in possession of crack cocaine that police say was packaged for trafficking. Both the drugs and a quantity of money was seized.

Robinson was charged with 3rd degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and is awaiting arraignment.

JAMESTOWN – Two city men and a Lakewood resident face charges following the culmination of a drug investigation that took place Wednesday afternoon in Jamestown.

Jamestown Police Captain Robert Samuelson says 62 year-old Wayne Leeper and 33 year-old Jarvell Leeper, both of Jamestown, along with 40 year-old Antwan Jackson of Lakewood, were all arrested and charged following a raid on a home at 904 N. Main St. at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

According to a media release, authorities gained access into the apartment and once inside located a quantity of crack cocaine, more than a pound of marijuana, a quantity of prescription pills, and scales and packaging material.

Both Wayne Leeper and Jarvell Leeper, who were both listed as residing in the apartment, were charged with 3rd and 5th Degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance along with 2nd degree Criminal Possession of Marijuana and and Criminal Using Drug Paraphernalia.

Police also say that upon entry into the apartment, Jackson allegedly jumped out a window in an attempt to flee from the scene but was apprehended. He was charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration.

JAMESTOWN – A city man faces drug and child endangerment charges after an investigation found crack cocaine inside his home.

City police say investigators executed a search warrant at 40 Thayer St. Thursday afternoon and found 11 grams of crack. Police arrested 22 year-old Darin Butts Jr. on drug charges. They say an 18-year-old female and a small child were also inside and Butts was also charged with child endangerment. The 18-year-old – whose name was not released – was also charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child.

Both were taken to Jamestown City Court to await arraignment.
