That’s according to an article in Thursday’s Post-Journal, which says that current Ellicott Supervisor Cecil Miller III will be stepping down from his post at the end of the year.

Miller says he believes its time for a change in his personal life, where he hopes to spend more time with his family, traveling and golfing. Prior to serving as town supervisor, Miller also served as a town council member and also on the village of Falconer board of trustees.

The town board will be responsible for appointing a replacement for Miller, which will most likely happen this December.  The replacement would then serve through 2015. The next election for Ellicott Town Supervisor is November 2015.
