JAMESTOWN – Jamestown police say two more men have been arrested and charged in connection to a home invasion that took place in 2014 on Falconer Street.

According to Jamestown Police Captain Robert Samuelson, both 30 year-old Ernest Bishop and 27 year old Ralph Crayton, both of Buffalo, were recently handed 16-count indictments by a Chautauqua County Grand Jury.

The two are believed to be part of a group of men who allegedly invaded a residence at 188 Falconer St. in July 2014. The invasion involved an assault and robbery of four individuals inside and was believed to be drug related. When officers first responded to the scene they were allegedly fired upon by one of the suspects and initial reports had said that at least one of the suspects was shot by a police officer.

The arrest of both Bishop and Crayton were the result of new information that was collected following a forensic evaluation of evidence. Both men were charged with three counts of first-degree robbery, aggravated sexual abuse, first-degree criminal sex act, first-degree use of a firearm, four counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and six counts of second-degree assault.

Both were charged and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail on $500,000 cash bail or $1 million property bond.

Four other men had previously been charged in the crime. All except one – 27 year-old Levelle Jones – were from the Buffalo area. All four were already sentenced for their crimes and each are spending between two and 5 years in state prison for their crime.
