JAMESTOWN – The National Weather Service has determined a storm that caused extensive damage to parts of Warren County on Sunday was a small, EF-1 tornado with winds up to 90 miles per hour.
Most of the damage was confined to a small area of North Warren and Glade Township.
The strong winds knocking over dozens of huge trees damaging homes, sheds, and garages.
The storm also knocked down power lines and poles.
Crews spent Monday working to restore power to the area.
A National Weather Service meteorologist surveyed the damage and said the evidence points to a tornado.
