JAMESTOWN – Jamestown Police are continuing their investigation into Wednesday Morning’s armed robbery at that took place at the CVS store in Brooklyn Square.

According to Captain Robert Samuelson, investigators reviewed surveillance footage from the Kwik Fill store on Fluvanna Avenue around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday night, which shows a person with a covered face and hooded sweatshirt that says “Tailgate Party” – which is similar to one worn by a suspect in the CVS robbery.

No crime occurred at the Kwik Fill store, but the face of the suspect was not shown in the surveillance footage and its unknown if any employees saw him without his mask.

Investigators are asking for anyone who may recognize the sweatshirt and mask to call Jamestown Police at 483-7531, or their confidential tip line at 483-8477.
