JAMESTOWN – City Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place early Wednesday morning. Police say two men wearing Carhart pants and covering their faces walked into the CVS store in Brooklyn Square at about 2:15 a.m. Wednesday and took medication, cash and cigarettes. One of the men was reportedly armed with a knife.

Both suspects are believed to be white males with medium builds. Anyone with information on the identity of the individuals should call Jamestown Police at 483-7531 or 483-TIPS (8477).

This is the second armed robbery to take place this week at a local story. Early Monday morning, a suspect entered the 7-Eleven on N. Main St. in Jamestown and took an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.
