JAMESTOWN – A Chautauqua County Grand Jury has handed up a second indictment in the case involving a January 30 drive by shooting in Jamestown.
City Police say 19 year-old Corey Johnson faces three counts of attempted murder and one count of assault in the first degree.
Johnson is the second man to be charged. Earlier this week city police also arrested 30-year-old Rasul Bonds on the same charges after an indictment was handed up by a grand jury.
Police say the drive by shooting took place at about 2:48 a.m. on January 30 near the intersection of N. Main and Ninth Streets in Jamestown as a group of individuals were walking along the road. One male victim was seriously injured after being struck in the face.
Johnson is being held in the county jail on $200,000 Cash Bail.
