Ellicott Town Police have released the name of the man who died last Thursday after being hit by a car in the Home Depot parking lot. Police say a car driven by George Prickett Jr. hit 74-year old Austin Piper as the car turned into a parking spot. Piper was flown to UPMC Hamot Medical Center where he died of his injuries. Police are not charging Prickett in the incident.
