JAMESTOWN – The 2012 City of Jamestown Christmas Tree, a ‘Colorado’ Blue Spruce, is being donated by the Jamestown Moose Lodge no. 1681, 405 East Fifth Street. The tree will be harvested around 8 a.m today and will be installed on the Tracy Plaza around 10 a.m. The Board of Public Utilities crane will raise and hold the tree in place while it is secured in preparation for Parks employees to decorate it with over 2,000 energy saving LED lights. The Colorado Blue Spruce will tower approximately 40 feet above its base on Tracy Plaza.
