Some days there is only 1 nurse for 40 people. Dietary is understaffed and 1 person is expected to cook and serve the meal to 39 people. Lutheran has always been “out of touch” with the reality of what its mission is. Skilled nursing will NOT benefit from this new facility. The millions spent on a “fluff” development would have measurably increased the quality of life of residents in skilled nursing. Don’t be fooled by a nice picture and think that your “mom” or “dad” will benefit.
