Thursday morning, Lt. Gov. Hochul convened a Summer Tourism Roundtable with local industry and regional representatives from across the county to promote Gov. Cuomo’s I Love NY Initiative. The conversation focused on Chautauqua County’s already impressive record of bringing in visitors from outside the area, as well as what else can be done to continue to leverage the county as a year-round destination.

Thursday afternoon also had the Lt. Governor touring Johnson Estate Winery to promote Wine Industry in Western New York and how to promote the region’s wine products through the state’s Made in NY initiative.

An interview with Hochul will be broadcast Thursday afternoon during WRFA’s Community Matters program (5 to 6 p.m.) and a ful recap of the Lt. Governor’s visit will also be provided during the WRFA Friday Morning News Update.
