On Thursday afternoon, WRFA Public Affairs Director Jason Sample talked with NY Assemblyman Andy Goodell (R-Chautauqua, District 150) to get his reaction on the $141.6 billion Executive Budget, presented Jan. 21, 2015 by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, along with his thoughts on the news that Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver (D-Manhattan, District 65) has been arrested on federal corruption charges for taking more than $3 million in bribes and kickbacks during his time in the State Assembly.

The tenure issue has bugged me for decades. A balance of power in the language of a reform certainly is important. And the big one is lifting people out of poverty. No one should have to stay stuck on welfare. Thanks for all you do for us and God bless you.
