JAMESTOWN –Jamestown Police are asking for the public’s helping in finding the suspect involved in an armed robbery that took place on the city’s west side at a the Kwik Fill gas station early Tuesday morning.
The robbery occurred around 2 a.m. at the gas station, located at 1617 W. Third St. The suspect reportedly displayed a knife and no injuries were reported.
The suspect, described as a black male about at 6 foot 3 inches or taller, took off with an undisclosed amount of money from the store’s register. The male was wearing a ski mask, black coat with a light blue hooded sweatshirt. He was also carrying a backpack.
