Horrigan Announces New Member of Transition Team

December 2, 2013 By WRFA Radio Leave a Comment

Horrigan1BEMUS POINT – County Executive-Elect Vince Horrigan, has named an additional Chautauqua County resident to his transition team.

In a media release, Horrigan announced that Dunkirk resident Doug Stock has been appointed to his transition team. Stock currently serves on the Workforce Investment Board and is one of the founders of the Chautauqua County Labor Coalition (CCLC).

Horrigan’s transition team is comprised of a non-partisan group of individuals who work or have worked in various private and public sectors throughout the county. The members include former JCC president Gregory DeCinque, Allied Alarm Services CEO Mike Roberts, former Jamestown City Council President and member of the Jamestown Renaissance Corporation Dr. Lillian Ney and United Way of Southern Chautauqua County Executive Director Tory Irgang.

Horrigan says the purpose of the team is to provide an assessment of current Chautauqua County strengths and weaknesses, identify future opportunities for growth and make recommendations for implementation during the next four years.

Horrigan will take over as county executive on January 1, 2014.
