JAMESTOWN – A group of Jamestown High School students will be performing on the Reg Studio Theatre stage this tonight to perform live, original comedy. Drama Club shows improvisational comedy chops in this public performance. Hosted and performed entirely by students, this show will shape audience suggestions into scenes, games and more as new characters come alive. The group includes local students Rachael Arce, Sofia Berry, Kassandra Kum and Kendra Wood.
The program is part of an after school program funded by 21st Century Community Learning Centers through a partnership with Arts Council For Chautauqua County. Since 2010, Chautauqua Theater Company and Unexpected Guests member, Tim Smeal, has been guiding the Drama Club.
They will perform at 6:30pm. The show is free and open to the public. For more information, visit www.artscouncil.com.
