JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a city man who’s been missing since early Wednesday morning.
Police say 35-year-old Sean Carpenter was last seen walking on Pine Street toward First Street in downtown Jamestown around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Carpenter was reportedly walking toward his home on Superior Street in Jamestown but never made it there.
Family members tell police that Carpenter has not gone missing like this before and as a result, they are treating the disappearance as “suspicious.”
Carpenter is described as 6-feet, 2-inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a brown baseball hat, green jacket and gray and red sneakers.
Anyone with information is asked to call JPD at 483-7537, or leave an anonymous tip at 483-TIPS (8477).
