JAMESTOWN – A Falconer man is in police custody after Jamestown police found 13 pounds of marijuana inside a city apartment Thursday afternoon.

Jamestown Police say 29 year-old Steven Greenland was arrested Thursday afternoon following a short investigation in which police learned a large quantity of marijuana had reportedly been shipped to an apartment at 8 C Shirley Lane in the city. After receiving a warrant to enter the home, police found 13 pounds of packaged marijuana and nearly a pound of a highly concentrated form of marijuana known as “Shatter.” Police say the total street value of the drugs is $43,000. An additional $3,000 cash was found at the scene.

Officers say during the raid Greenland allegedly attempted to flee the apartment through a second story window, but was caught and taken into custody. He was charged with felony first-degree criminal possession of marijuana and felony fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

13 pounds of Marijuana was seized during a drug raid Jan. 29, 2015 in Jamestown, NY.
